King co-edits edition of Telecommunications Policy
(Apr 2002) SI Dean John L. King has co-edited with Kalle Lyytinen a special edition of the journal Telecommunications Policy on the role of standardization in the rise of cellular telephony. An editorial by King and Lyytinen states that the special issue of the journal is "intended to demonstrate the importance and role of cooperative agreement processes at the dawn and during the evolution of wireless technologies." Included is an article by Lyytinen and SI post-doctoral fellow Vlad Fomin on the importance of the regulatory environment in wireless innovation.
