University Library Associates

The University Library Associates (ULA) program is an excellent opportunity for School of Information master's students who are interested in academic and research libraries. The ULA program combines education and work experience in the University Library. Students attend SI classes full-time and work a 50 percent appointment in the University Library, earning a full-tuition scholarship, health-care benefits, and a stipend.

For more information, read the ULA program description → and ULA course of study.

To apply for a ULA position, complete the ULA application form (PDF) in addition to the standard SI application. The deadline is Feb. 1, and final decisions are typically made in the end of March or early April.
