UMSI students, staff and faculty are invited to join the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office (DEIO) for January’s Community Conversation to learn about UMSI’s educational outreach programs and initiatives. 

In this interactive session, participants will craft their own origin story, reflecting on their journey to college and their career field. This conversation will provide a space for attendees to explore how personal stories can serve as powerful tools for connection, especially in educational outreach and community-building efforts. Personal narratives can foster a sense of belonging and inspire motivation, while also resonating with students from diverse backgrounds and showing them that their stories are just as important. Join us for this enriching conversation where storytelling meets educational outreach and learn how your story can create lasting connections with students.
