Avalon Hu on finding your passion and paving your way to success

From Disney to Adobe Illustrator, Avalon Hu has worked on incredible projects at companies on the forefront of innovation. As a 2011 Master of Science in Information graduate, Avalon found her roots at the University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI). Here, she was able to freely explore her interests while honing her design skills and preparing for the career she dreamed of as a student. 

Today, Avalon is a senior product designer at Adobe Illustrator. At Adobe, Avalon builds the design components for Adobe mobile apps, fusing together her love of creativity and her passion for user experience. It was at UMSI where Avalon took advantage of unique internship opportunities and learned about the broad paths she could take with her degree.
