Bailey Oland
Biography
As Assistant Director of Human Resources, Bailey oversees the faculty affairs team. Their work covers all aspects of the faculty life cycle for all faculty tracks.
Before joining UMSI, Bailey spent five years as Assistant to the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at the School of Public Health. Her favorite work experience at the University was her time as Administrative Assistant Senior and Student Initiatives Coordinator in the Bicentennial Office, planning and coordinating the University wide events for the University's Bicentennial Celebration. Bailey also spent time as a faculty secretary at the Law School after staring her University career as a faculty secretary at UMSI.
Outside of the office, Bailey plays oboe with the University of Michigan Alumni Concert Band and Waterford New Horizons Concert Band and tenor saxophone with the University of Michigan Alumni Pep Band. She enjoys all sports with particular interest in University of Michigan and Detroit teams, is an avid crocheter, and enjoys exploring her family genealogy.
