Spandan Sharma

Spandan is a UI & UX Designer who enjoys teaching programming fundamentals and diverse AI tools to students. She works at the intersection of user-centered design and programming and uses knowledge from both areas to empower people. In her spare time, Spandan volunteers at the AADL, Tiny Lions, and takes care of her plants. 

She believes that, as the UMSI motto goes, information changes everything. To make that a reality, she regularly delivers presentations on different topics (ranging from technical ones such as "Dark UX" and "Wordpress Security" in NYC to more community based such as "Things You Didn't Know Were From India" at her local cafe) to educate and learn alongside her various communities.
